HVE Quickshifters

Heres what I got....

We are sending a pallet of goods to vision imports on MOnday next week which we could add your order to that pallet.
The price of the quickshifter exchange would be approx $175.00 US$ and that is our rally spec model. Exact price depends upon customs and import charges.

If you are interested in this fill in the purchase order form enclosed and email it back and I will send the goods out along with vision imports order and forward your information to them.


I got no reply from SR about it so I emailed the RPW guy and this is what he told me........

Hi Rally WRC,

I am having a new batch of quick shifters for the X3 Excel/Accent and RD/J2 Lantra Coupe/Tiburon made up by HVE in the next 5-10 days. At this stage there are no orders in for a quickshifter for the LC Accent, however if you need one I am sure I can get one made.

I am still to finalise the price with HVE, however based on their their quickshifters the price would be around A$180 (approx US$106) plus shipping (around A$40, US$23 approx, via Ausralia Post EMS Courier Service, 3-5 days delivery door to door) and a bond on the return of your original shifter (A$60, approx US$35).

HVE charge a bond on the return of the original shifter as they need to source original gear shifters to allow them to perform the quick shift modifications on them. Some people choose not to return their original shifter and simpy add the bond onto the cost of their quickshifter.

The shifter referred to by Itsbrad appears to be an RPW Rally Spec Shifter for the Accent, and not a HVE QuickShifter. From what I hear these RPW Rally Spec shifters are still a very a good product, and I am talking to David at RPW about adding these to our product range.

I wish there were a way for me to try them both out before purchasing the rally spec really isnt a short shifter as far as looks go its short mechanically what about the HVE one?
