Default way to achieve 165hp out of turbo 1.5

A stock 1.5 turbo has 115 horsepower. with a chip form www.superchips.com you can acheive 165 horse power if it has performance intake. you should check it out. one thing the prices are in uk so you will have to convert the currency from uk to whatever currency.

i my self have not done it but i plan to but i read on a website that since it is so light that it would do 0-100 in like 8 seconds. But that is just what i read. The guy who posted it probably had done some other mods but i dont know. I havent seen any for an accent but if i find anything i'll post it.

The Superchip for the S Coupe Turbo adds 30bhp according to the Superchip's website. To get a 50bhp increase you would need a cat back exhaust system and a decent induction kit.

The S Coupe Turbo is the only Hyundai that Superchips do a chip for - you would have to get one elsewhere for the Excell/Accent. They wouldn't respond as well to chipping as they are N/A - the biggest gains from chipping come from turbo'd motors in general.

I know Nick, its just not good enough is it??!! I know we have to take inflation into account n stuff but double the price!!!!!

Might look into having one custom mapped - UNI chip might work out cheaper in long run.
