Default Tuning a Hyundai Excel??

Hi everybody,

My dad is planning 2 buy a Hyundai Accent, so he asked me if I wanted 2 buy his Excel.
I really want it cos i now how good he treats his car and it had run only +/- 21.000 km.
The only problem is the size of the engine :ermm: so i wondered if some of you guys may know if its possible 2 tune a hyundai Excel 1.3I GS (year 1999)

Are you sure it is a 1.3L? I know Hyundai makes a 1.3L in some smaller cars than the Excel/Accent, and a 1.4L... But I didn't think they had a 1.3L in the Accent.

Also what country are you from? That might help a little too. Thanks.

Even the 89 Excel was a 1.5L. But in England they sell a 1.4L Accent so I'm guessing it could be something else.

When Hyundai redesigned the Excel for 95 (x3), it kept the Excel name in many countries. So while we got an Accent in 95, in lots of places, it was still the Excel till 2000 when it was redesigned again.

And the x3 was available with a 1.3 base engine in many places. The 1.5 was available in the sport models and in the sedan.

O yer sorry mates my mistake i guess :nervous:, it's an accent 1.3i 1999.
In the netherlands this car is still called an excel and since the new models arrived 2000 it's called the accent, bit strange isnt it. Like the tiburon is called coupe overhere.
But is there any chance 2 boost that kind of motor?
