Default Intake System For 03' Accent GL 3-Door

I have a 2003 Accent Gl 3-Door Hatchback 5-Speed Manual, and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a Cold Air Intake System for it.

My 2001 Accent has the same engine as your 2003; but a kit is not available, yet. You probably will have to get one custom made for it.

I plan on custom bending mine once I get the right size tubing.

Do a search and you will learn how to make a custom one

They are fairly easy to make. I noticed you kept the stock tubing, putting a high flow filter on the end of it. I can get a straight piece of tubing the same size as the inlet tube, and bend it with my machine (which I just got). What I plan on doing different is have the tubing in two separate pieces, putting a bypass filter in between the two pieces to prevent water from being sucked into the engine.

It took me a bit to figure out you cluster was metric..I saw 200 and initially thought that was mph instead of kph.

Good luck in building the intake its fairly easy. If you want a cheap intake thier are tons availble for hondas on ebay, it wont technically be cold air, more like a warm air but you will feel a difference.

I can get the materials quite easy, but they are straight. I have a machine that bends tubing up to 8 inches in diameter and can custom bend my inlet tubing to whatever I think would work for my Accent. This machine is a new one for me.

Sounds cool, you should charge your friends & make custom intakes for them. Then you can use that money get some neat stuff for your car. Tints, rims, exhaust,Hid etc..

I already have a wing, rims/tires, exhaust for my Accent. I want to lower it, tint the windows, put a CAI on it and maybe redo the computer.

I bought the machine for my shop so we can do custom work without farming out the work we should be doing ourselves.
