Default Would this work for cleared light?

http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm
Would these work for cars with clear corner'd headlights?? I never found a pair of corner lights that looked white. They always gave off a aqua-greenish look, no matter what companey it was, xenon gas filled, super white etc.. it was all crappy looking. Im sick of having nice white headlights & the sides look wierd, do you think these would flash if they were put in the corner light locations? Any ideas on this?

from what I've heard, white LED's produce ONLY white light, with no other color of any kind

there's no yellow, no blue, no greenish-aqua crap (my friend had that one too)

just white

there's another topic which has going around for a while now regarding superbrightleds.com
http://www.hyundaiperformance.com/forums/topic.php?t=19063

From what I've seen and heard, Perlplay is the expert on stuff from that site, and I hope to be soon as well, as I'm going to spend probably over $100 on LED's soon

and if they're hooked up to a power source that flashes, then they will flash

but i think they flash faster because of different (lower) resistances or something

In order for them to flash you would need the ones thathave to double contact on the underside.

unless you have single filament bulbs that blink, some cars have that

as well, any car CAN have it
it's simply a matter of cutting a wire to the regular 2-filament turn signal and running it to a seperate bulb... I plan on doing the same, so I have two working turn signals in the front on each side

What my normal bulbs have are the duel filiment type that blink left & right. There the turn signal lights. To get them to flash would I need a relay or somthing & how would they hook up if anyone knows? Maybe perl can gimme some help if he reads this, jerkitt I read that whole 3page topic about the leds, but it didnt answer my question about the parking lights.

It's simple...the manufacturers of the LED bulbs have done all the worry work. If the bulb you have in the socket right now is a 1156...then get a 1156 LED bulb and it will work the exacty same way the filament bulb does....visa versa so if the bulb in the socket right now is a 1157, then get a 1157 LED bulb and it too will work exactly as the filament one.

As for the color of a white LED...it's WHITE. No tints, pure white color.

As for what jerkitt plans to do about having two turn signals on each side....take a look at the pics of his car...there isn't much more than a reflector on the side. It think what he wants is to have one facing forward and one to the side.

Cool perl thanks. So all I gotta do is take out my old "super whites" .And replace it with the led type . Do you have these installed in your parking lights yet ? How do they look now that u got that spiffy digicam take a pic maybe? How do they flash is it on & off or rotate like some leds light do ? If its as easy as a plug in how come on the site it says

"NOTE:
LED brake/tail lamps may not work with some thermal flasher units due to their extremely low current draw. These installations will require an electronic flasher unit available at your auto parts store"

Does this pertain to the front flashers or just the brake lights?? Sorry to pester you but as of now your the resident led expert and you always talk about this site. Thanks a mill

Right now I only have the 19LED red brake lights installed on my car, and they don't rotate like to lights (Would you like some soy sauce to go with that? : )

The brake lights are dual filament, they simply have two different brightnesses. When they are on (normal, no brake) they are brighter than normal bulbs, but when you apply the brake, HOLY SH!T, they light up the road behind you. I've had to train myself to left off the brake at stoplights so I don't blind people.

And I won't be able to get you some pics of those until after I resolve a problem with this guy who I think is trying to screw me over with windshield damage he claims I casued, but his story REEKS of SCAM.

I want to do this because as it is, my turn signals flash mostly forward. And if I get the white LED turn signals, which I plan to, they will point forward moreso. I'm getting a pair of those little euro-style sidemarkers, and using those for turnsignals as well. Possibly staying on all the time, and then flashing off as the front turn signals go on.
