I'm having troubble get the light housing out of the car. it doesn't seem to want to come out like it's too big or something. also do the hedlights just unscrew like the orange ones do? i couldn't get it to turn!

The headlight capsule has a clip that holds it to the lens assembly. One part of the clip is held in with a tiny screw, so if you unscrew it to far, it will fall out and the possibility of losing it is great. To remove the lens, there are 2-3 screws at the corners holding it to the car.

Try doing a search on this, I remember a few posts about this. You'll see, it sounds harder to do than it really is.

Just bash it out with a hammer. Also, you may need to re-adjust your light alignment after you put the light housing back in. The last time I took those things out, my headlight beams were all out of whack.8D

If I remember correctly there are 3 screws to get the headlight housing out of the car.
To get the actual light bulb out you need to push in a metal spring clamp, it sorta looks like a large bent paper clip. Once you remove the dust cover (rubber piece) & unplut the lights its easy to see whats going on. Maybe have a mirror handy so you can see how it looks back there. Once you got the headlight bulbs & housing out. Take some needle nose pliers & break up the orange piece a few times till you can pull it out the hole.
Also check this out if your not sure how to take out the headlight housings http://www.hmaservice.com/webtech/default.asp
It seems complicated at 1st but its not really shouldnt take u more than 40mins to do. Im assuming this is your 1st mod, good luck & take your time. Let us know how it works out for u. This is one of the most attempted mods for the lc owners so do a search tons of similar info will come up for you to check out.

You're having trouble getting the headlight off the car, not having trouble taking the headlight apart?

If so, you're probably having problems with the fender seeming a little too small? You just need to undo the screw that hols the flap from the front bumper (on top of the bar in front of the radiator) that'll give you some more room to work with.

then you need to wiggle the headlight out one side at a time, sliding it slightly left and right at the same time.

Did that make any sense? :ermm: :hmmm:
