MOVED: Pulled Over !!!

Yp i got pulled over this mornign for having red license plate lights ..first of all they were on only because it was dark out at like 6 o clock this mornign and raining like a mother...and im driving past this firehouse by my house and here comes mister big ballz pussl me over and tells me that they have to be white lights because they arent bright enough to read my licenses plate numbers ..what a crock of sh*t ..their brighter than my old lights and can very well be seen far away ...Anyways since im broke i got a fine for 58 bucks ...i thought i got pulled over for speeding or something stupid like that but not in a bajillion years thought it would be for my lights

They are illegal.

You may think they are bright enough but to police officer behind you trying to radio your plate # into dispatch at 20 yards, they are probably not.

I should have asked him if he wanted to race if he was gonna give me a ticket..lol..I have to repport back in 7 to 10 days to show him that i replaced them with white lights...thats so gay...aranoid:

Yep, illegal they are.

The plate lights have to be white but dim enough not to blind the drivers behind you. The brake lights red, turn signals red or amber.

I got pulled over for having a white brake light (waiting to get the lens from the junkyard) in a car I had. Cop said not to drive it because the car had defective equipment even though the lens was intact, but faded as hell.
