Default oil leak/ coolant

my excel started leaking oil, and i thought just put that additive that seal cracks where the oil leaks. it worked for about a month then it started again so i put the additive in again now it's leaking again it's gotten worse now it leaves quite a few drops. Do i need a new oil pan??? or something

i also found out that i was running low on coolant so i buy some and the tells me to open the radiator cap and pour it with water, i was like wtf isn't through the little container next to the air filter, he said no that water goes there (it clearly says coolant here) so i poured it until it was full.

your not supposed to put full coolant in your car

where is youre motor leaking from ? you have the mitsu 4g15 motor . i think it would be in your best intrest to find a low miles motor and prepair for the worst that is if you want to keep your car for a long time as far as the rest of your problems ask a trained service tech not a mechanic a hyundai tech !! you will never be confused if you go to these guys for help . dont for the love of god mess your car up !! i see too many hyundais in junk yards because of the shade tree mechanic ... sorry about complaining . just learn and dont be afraid of asking questions

Running XP is like putting a dual exhaust on a 4cyl, loads of extra weight, and no gain

you can crack your block in extreme cold weather (winter nights) by adding just water in the radiator. just be careful

You are confused between the words "coolant" & "water"!........use a 50/50 mix of water & anti-freeze to make your coolant. This goes into your radiator and when this is full, you need to fill it`s expansion-tank up to the "full" mark...usually about two-thirds of the way up.
On some cars you can only fill the rad. via the expansion tank.
Hope this helps!.
