Default String of bad luck....

On the way home from Import Xtreme, chipped off a corner of my shiney new ATH front bumper right where it meets up with the fender/tire well. Huge chip, disfigures the entire bumper. Minor repair, but big enough to piss you off.

After spending a week in Houston TX on business, took the car around the block. Driver side rear air strut cracked in half at the bracket. Dragged my car about 50 feet on just the lower controll arm. No kit damage, thank goodness. Suspension damage, hard to tell.

Called for a tow. Tow truck driver had to use 2x4s to drag my car up onto a flatbed. Car slipped off the 2x4s, rear end slammed to the ground, muffler pushed up against my rear lip, chipped and cracked the bumper lip in several places, cracked the paint on the lip, and bent the muffler.

Tow to the Hack Shack exceeded my 100 mile AAA tow service by 18 miles @ $8/mile you do the math. Instant pisser! Got to the shop, guy tells me, can't look at it till the following Monday, fine, no choice I guess. Told me to remove all my valuables from the car (WTF?). Spent nearly 2 hours tearing apart my stereo in the dark.

Probably gonna miss the April 5th HIN now. :depressed:
