Default What is all needed for A/C

hey all i wanted to get air conditioning put into my car, but i already got a mechanic that can do it as long as i supply the parts, and what all would i need to get a/c into my car and what price would i be looking at, i live in mississauga ontario canada

A/C would cost about a grand for the parts, plus labor.

There are kits available from the dealer that is made for the car, and easier to install. I suggest doing this because it fits the car instead of getting the aftermarket part that usually requires some modifications to the car.

once again, wirmpolter check your e-mail, he said bout 1000 for parts and labor. mine from 95 should be bolt on. heck of a lot cheaper!!::

ya exactly, well if anyone can make sure for me that a 95 a/c kit can go into a 96
which im sure it can, i would love to grab the system off of u

i need to know a key piece of info wirmpolter. do you have a sohc or a dohc engine. if you have the single cam than they would be interchangeable, if not than i think the pulley is different. but that is just what i get from www.dcsonline.com (dont think im smart or anything, somebody gave me that address on another thread :nervous: ) but i need more info on your car so i can search more thorough or call a service dept. :duh:

call up ur local dealership and ask em for the part number...

if you can't find one kicking arround try going to a/c canada they are in milton they sell a/c parts for dirt cheap! try giving them a call!
