This may be a crazy question, but how exactly does the bulb come out to change it, I cannot seem to pop it out and I don't want to break anything, I have a 4 door 2002 accent GL

By going to "Edit Profile", you can add a car so that it is displayed under your user name. You can also add pictures to you profile so that people can see your car.
I'm not sure about the LC (2000-2002) accents, but it should be pretty easy. On my car, All you do is go behind the housing and unscrew(turning a large plastic piece) the back of the light connected wires and simply pull it out.
2 ways to do it with the housing IN the car or take the housing out.....I do it with mine in but thats me look behind the headlight there is a black grommet inside there is a black "plug" squeeze the two sides and pull itll come unplugged ok once that is outI just take the black grommet off just pull it off there is a clasp holding the bulb in undo that clasp pull out the bulb, put in new bulb redo clasp put black grommet back on(there is an arrow that shows you UP so put that side UP) plug in the wire housing and tada! turn signals are easier just reach in there and twist the whole housing and take out the bulb put in new bulb twist the housing back into the headlight and tada
it's a littloe spring bendy metal thing that holds the bulb in place. it is very hard to get the bulb out behind the battery withought taking the housing out or the battery out. also don't touch the bulb itself. the oil on your fingers burn the bulb quick.( i know from experience.) also don't drop yopur bulbs.....also from experience.:dead:
You can do it with the headlamps on the car. But remember to have patience until you get the hand of it.
Just unplug the wire connector from the back. You do this by squeezing the two pins on the horizontal sides. The pins are kinda deep in the rubber dust cup. If you squeeze them, you don't have to yank on the connector soo much.
Once you've got the the connector off. Remove the rubber dust cup by pulling on the rubber tab that will be sticking out on either the top or the bottom.
After the rubber dust cup has been removed, you need to undo the clip that holds the bulb in the headlamp. The clip is V-shaped with a loop (like an eye) on one end. This clip operates very much like a safety pin. Just push in and down, and the clip will swing out. The clip pivots on the apex of the V.
While undoing the clip, be sure to use the other hand to hold onto the 3 spade connectors that come out of the base of the bulb. Once you swing the clip out the bulb will want to fall out. While removing the bulb be sure not to touch the glass on -anything-.
In the famous words of the HMA webTech...."Installation is reverse of the removal."
Here is a pic of the back of the headlamps after the dust cup has been removed:
The orange arrow shows the 'eye' of the clip that you have to undo like a safety pin.
The green arrow shows the apex of the clip, by which the V of the clip swings.
The red arrows show the orientation arms, align these when you put in a new bulb.
Edit: Remember, it will be a little more difficult because the headlamp assembly will be on your car (not on my floor like in the pic). Just twist your head around and look at the back before doing each step. It'll help if you take time to study what you are going to be working on.

Isn't it great when you got pics of amost every part of your car...and a webserver to host them on?

Thanks, they are finally installed. The picture and explanation really helped, but still couldn't fing the tabs, so since the lamp behind the battery would have been hard anyway, I took it out to get a better look and found the tabs, then the other one was easy.

what tabs are you referring to...the tabs on the bulb? or the tabs on the dust cup?
