I like the info about the changes made to the transmission. It sounds like it can be easily modified to beef it up.

quick question. I have the base model and no tach. I'm in the process of getting a tach. What is the official redline for the 2002 Accent? I think the base model of 3-door is the Accent L in the US? Thanks. Peak power is at ~5500, though I think.

The redline is at 6500. Peak HP is about 5,000 rpm's.
