Default my accent problem

I own a 1999 hyundai Accent and it's been sitting in the garage for 2 months with a dead battery after i put a new battery in the check engine light pops on it back fires its realy shakey and jreky when in neuteral or at any point i stop i was wondering if any one knows why its doing this.

Fill it with some good quality gas, add some dry gas and also reset your ecu by disconnecting the battery. If this doesn't do it let us know, probably just bad gas or water in the gas tank. You might want to change your filters too air, fuel and oil+oil change. She should be happier that way.




Please someone let me know if I am talking out of my ass, this is just my 2cents on what I'd do.:ermm:




Oh yeah also check your sparkplugs and wires.:

yeah pretty much that should give you help you a lot, filters plus new fuel, plus wires should help you a lot

if it keeps doing that take it to the dealer, its still under warranty isnt it?

Check your wires. Check your spark plugs. Also your fuel has been sitting, which causes it to separate. Goto a gas station and pump in some high octane gas... its always good to put high octane in once in a while to burn out some of the bad stuff. If that doesn't work reset your ecu. Put on a new air filter and make sure nothing came loseuzzled:
