cracked exhaust manifold

i just got a letter about cracked exhaust manifolds for the 98 or 99 accents saying they will replace it for free if there is a crack in the manifold. i was just wondering if anybody else got this letter

hey i got the same letter 2 weeks ago..... mines was cracked too. I took it there and they fixed it 4 free ... BE SURE TO BRING THE PAPER SAYING ITS UNDER RECALL OR THE WONT DO IT! It should be there 4 a while gettin fixed so get a ride 2 pick u up unless u like waiting a long ass time

Just an update on my cracked manifold for those who are interested. Hyundai Canada basically told me to go F@#$ myself and will provide NO assistance regarding my cracked exhaust manifold.

So to re-cap:

If you have a 1998-99 Accent with a cracked exhaust manifold and you live in the USA - come on in and get a free replacement for your defective part.

IF, however, you live in Canada and have a 1998-99 Accent with a cracked exhaust manifold, Hyundai Canada will be happy to SELL you a new one for CDN$250(+/-)

Makes sense if you like gettin' it up the backside!uzzled:
