Default Any idea of the difference in Evolution engine for Scoupe?

I was wondering, I have seen many people use 1990-1992 Eclipse 4g63t engines in Scoupes, but the Evolution has the same engine, but it has about 275 hp stock. I would like to use one of these of it was as easy of is even worth attempting. Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi!.....in theory anything is possible, just remember that (of the Scoupe), you would only be keeping the bodyshell & interior.........everything else would have to be replaced to handle the power of the EVO engine......tranny, powertrain, brakes etc. etc..
The project is exactly like building your own WRC car!.
Good luck!, Nick.:

The thing with the EVO unit, is that it uses a 4wd system, which would all need to be adapted to suit the S Coupe. I believe the Eclipse unit would be easier to put in (as the Eclipse was 2wd), but a 4wd 275 bhp S Coupe would be awesome!!!

gotta remember though that the Evo I-III are in the same position as the US Eclipses and the Evo IV-VIII are flipped 180 degrees opposite:
