Welcome to the site.

First, we need to know what car you have.

You should list your car in your profile.

By going to "Edit Profile", you can add a car so that it is displayed under your user name. You can also add pictures to you profile so that people can see your car.

Also, you can add an avatar from the collection provided or add a custom one of your own.

Take a look at those links.

That depends on what car he has.

If he has an Accent, then X3 (1995-1999) Accent's can't DIY (well easily). The LC (2000-2002) and LC2 (2003), you can do it yourself. If you search the forum, you'll see many people have done it and have done write ups also.

I'm not sure about the Excel or S-coupe though.

If you have an LC1 yes it can be done do a search to see how. If you have a LC2 it can also be done but I am not sure if it is the same process as the LC1

DO it yourself if you can. I just did mine last week and it makes a big difference when it looks really good and knowing it was free to do. The only thing that you pay for is the cuts and caulouses on your fingers when you are done.

you can either break up the orange reflector up inside with something and take out the pieces with a pair of needle nose pliers, or the way I did it where I used a blow dryer, melted the sealent, take apart headlight, and then take piece out. Try breaking it up first, and if you are unsuccessful, do other way. Be prepared for it to take a little bit.
