If you would like to speak to a memeber, please use email.

If you want to know if the filter fits, why not try to look around and see that many people have done this mod and there are write ups and pictures to go along with them.

You'll have to cut it down to make it fit, but it will once you shorten it. Check my profile for a pic of it.

When I did mine, I cut about 4-5 inches (about halfway into the straight section) off.

The 1.6 engine is a lot easier to do because no maf sensor to mess up.

ok.....it does look nice....but isnt the point of an air intake to get more air to the engine?......would i get better results out of making a custom intake that was longer....say....closer to more airflowing areas???

That intake is getting more air into the intake system.

I ran mine all the way down into my foglight area. The piping doesn't look spectacular my any means, but it serves the purpose.

The intake will fit, just requires cutting, I did it myself and it looks good. It's a 3" pipe though. you will achieve a more agressive sound out of the car if you go with a 2.5" pipe though. I'm just using it to hold me over till they produce a 2.5" CAI that is made for it. I change the filter on mine though. don't trust the cheap one it comes with. Got a K & N one came a few days after i knew the pipe would work.

could always make one like mine, its a CAI w/ AEM bypass valve. The Intake is made for a Mitsu Eclipse non turbo 95-99, I got mine here: http://www.cosmoracing.com/productin...cid=88&pid=123 I used a smaller filter then what came with it and added the bypassvalve. If you have any questions or are interested shoot me an email: rally_wrc2002@yahoo.com Also check my photopage and profile pics. 8D
