Okay, after thinking about it, these are my plans for my car in the order that I hope to achieve them. You will notice that my list stops with engine mods basically. This is because I want to do all the suspension and brake mods first before tuning, and I really haven't decided what I want to do there yet. I have posted this to hear your suggestions and comments. Your input is always appreciated. Thanks as always.
1. Avital alarm with keyless from Best Buy $219 installed
2. Window tint $139 from local shop
3. Steel braided brake lines
4. Front brake upgrade, slotted rotors and performance pads (I haven't decided on the manufacturers yet)
5. Rear brake drum to disc conversion (still waiting on the DIY write up to see what kind of parts to use and where I can get them to do this)
6. Performance struts (suggestsions?)
7. Lowering springs (1.5" drop)
8. Stiffer front and rear swaybars (from Whiteline, or course
9. Tires (probably Potenzas)
10. Dyno Max Super Turbo Muffler
11. Plugs and wires (suggestions?)
That's as far as I have gotten. I figure once I can get all that done, I will have an excellent foundation to build on for performance. Thanks.
Ken

Are you planning anything for the stero? Also, let me know what results you get, I want to see about doing stuff but can afford nothing at this point. Considered a K&N drop in? I'm planing on doing that first, cheap and I hear you notice it from a driver stand point. Also, mine has to be a winter car too, all that snow we get here :dead:

Stereos are very low on the list. Pretty much for me if it has a decent CD player, which it does, that's good enough for me. I like to start with the brakes first, since they are the most important thing IMO on the car. I did the list that way because I always say the you need a good foundation before you build the house.

HAHA!! I see that you decided to use the muffler that I'm using! Like how quiet it is eh? 8D

I just got my Accent GSi last Friday and had the windows done this past Tuesday. Makes a huge difference inside the car, not only for temperature, but for that nice dark look in the car towards evening. Makes the indiglo guage package look even better.
Simply upgrading the pads and brake fluid will make hte car brake better than the stock tires can handle. Upgrading the lines, rotors, and calipers isnt really necessary unless you get beyond the basic bolt ons and start making some serious power.
The drum to disc conversion hasnt been done yet by anyone on the LC. I might try working on it one day if I get around to it and feel the need for it performance wise.
I suggest getting KORE coilovers, or Koni Yellow inserts with eibach pro-kit springs for the LC (1.5" drp) or the x3 (2" drop on the LC, is what I'm running on my 01). KYB GR-2 struts arent bad either esp for the price, neither are Pedders.
As far as tires go... it depends. If you're planning on autoXing seriously in STS, get Falken Azenis on dedicated race wheels ( I suggest a 15" rota). For daily driving, get the Yokohama AVS Es100 for more than half the cost in any tire size the Potenzas come in and nearly the same performance.
KORE and Magnecor (through the HP.com store) has wires, and I suggest Denso plugs.
To go along with your muffler, get a 2" cat-back exhuast and a WAI (see my profile for pics).
