Default Anyone have clear signals?

Is there a replacement lens to make the signal lights in the bumpers clear? I did a ton of searches and at best i could come up with k-spec headlights with clear corners...

cuz in the '03 LC2 there's the amber ones in the bumper and in the rear bumber they're red... UG-LEEE!

Can anyone help me?

Better check on the legal stuff first. Areas do have specific criteria regarding side marker lights. The fronts can be either amber or clear, but the rears are red for a reason.

do you have a pic of what you are talking about? if you mean front turn signals then yes you can take out the amber. if you mean on the rear lenses then no it'll be illegal, but if you mean there are red lenses on the actual bumper then they should be fine...

There are requirements for side marker lights as well; which you should be checking the local statutes for.

You can be pulled over for defective/altered equipment because of this. In my county, the sheriff has been known to pull over cars with white side marker lights, which tend to be brighter.

Yeah i just don't see why hyundai put these in there. they aren't side markers, they're the turn signals in the bumper (kinda redundant since there's the turn signal in the tails and corner lights)

So it's not a matter of legality. I just want to put clear all around and then put a colored bulb in there (amber in front, red in rear) on my white bumper they stick out like a sore thumb

Actually, if you have the lights on, the fronts might flash with the front mounted light but the rears stay on all the time.

You're best bet will be to find a set at an auto store (pep boys, auto zone, canadian tire, etc.) that matches the shape and jam it in there.

I forget, are they inset in the bumper? or are they just screwed on like on the LCs?

So far as i can tell they are surface mounted on the bumper and there's a little resess (sp?) for the bulb and housing... i'll keep my ear to the ground on clears. i guess i'll live with it for now
