Default URGENT! replacing O2 sensor by cat. convertor

My O2 sensor went out, and I was wondering if any of you had experienced this problem. How easy is it to just do it myself? I have my car in the shop, so I cant check it out right now. But wouldnt it just entail jacking it up, and unplugging the sensor and then plugging the new one back? Id rather do it myself if its fairly easy.
thanks- JUSTIN

its easy. you jack up the front (i use a hydraulic floor jack on teh front crossmember and get both front tires in the air and then crawl under there with i think a 17mm wrench and find teh sensor. unplug it from teh harness which is located up into the engine bay (looking from the bottom) near your starter kinda. youll see where it goes. unplug that and use teh wrench to remove it and replace in teh reverse order. its easy as hell just make sure your car or at least the exhaust pipe is cool or you will get burnt gre:.

the sensor already has lubricating gel stuff on teh threads too so you dont even need never-sieze, its already there! what a bonus for paying for a $80 sensor huh
irate:.

it might require a good bit of force to take it out, they usually do, if you can't get enough leverage with a wrench, Autozone has a special socket on their loan-a-tool program so you can get at it with a breaker bar
