Default Accent LC suspension overview

hey fans *g*

i searched the board for suspension possiples for the accent.in usa you have many possibilities to lower your car.can anybody make an overview which companys makes springs, chassis, coilovers ect for accent lc?

i only know B&G from sweden then eibach and H&R.they only make springs to lower the car about 1.2-1.5inch.where can i get shockabsobers with springs for the accent?to lower more than 1.5 maybe 2.2 or 2.0 inch.i heart thats not good for the original shocks to lower 2.0inch..what do you think?

i read that the springs from accent '97-'99 fit on 2000 to lower 2.0inch?is that right?

thanks for the overview

kev

Why you have to lower the car so much? Isn't the 30 mm enough when you think driveability and performance?

But if you really must do that, then go to your local dealer and buy some common model coilovers and fit them. theres many of them available.

2.0" is a lot. When I get around to doing mine, I want to be at about 1.2"

isn't there a company in AU that makes coilovers, or better yet, I know there is one in Korea that makes them. Since you are closer to one of those 2.

If you lower the car 2.0" or more, your stock shocks are going to last maybe 1/3 of the life they would if you kept it at stock height. Skierd blew his within 10k miles.

I'm still riding on stock shocks.

in my opinoin 1.2 is not much lower than original.now i have 1.2 but i wann get lower.the eibach are to soft i think.they could be harder.i think there is no difference between original and 1.2 eibach.nobody i aks see that the accent is lower.they think its standart.they dont see the 1.2.

we have jettas or polos with 2.4inch lowering.

Bretton could help you with this.

If I lower my car, the struts are getting replaced at the same time.
