Yes he does. The flange is modified I believe to accept the turbo. Somthing liek the adapter flanges on this parts page...

How much was that garrett t2t3? What's the boost? Is your accent 1.6L....I was under the impression that accent engines are too weak for turbos and a lot of work was needed to be done to the engine to have a turbo installed such as new bearings, pistons, etc.....

ya same here, i heard its like this huge freakin project you have to do. But maybe not.
all i wanted to do is get a used t25 turbo, rebuilt it, a used intercooler, a bov, modified intake manifold to fit the turbo, plus i was thinking of controlling it all with my laptop, but what would i need in order to connect my laptop to monitor my car?
plus like the intake piping to finish it off
now would i need an exhaust system to go with that right away? or can i wait?
like can i get the turbo, intercooler, etc and get it all installed with like a 6-8psi boost?
now can that also be done without modifying the stock internals?
an i have the dohc 1.5L engine in my accent GT, its got 112500km on the engine

First off, with that many miles, do a compression check, and anything else that may need reconditioning... Secondly, I wouldn't recommend you turbo your car unless you have a second car to drive. I am in the process right now of turbocharging my 97 sohc... My only mistake was to buy a mitsubishi T25.. The outlet of the turbo makes it a little difficult to work with.(it ends up right where the front motor moungt is) You just have to be creative, use your brain? Other than that, do some research, there is SO MUCH information the internet, its unbelievable! I website upon wesite save for pretty much every question I've had... Do a SEARCH her of past posts. Its been done... As for using a laptop to tune email Lobert thats what he uses.. With the SMT5, or 6 or buy an SAFCII... Or just punt... :ermm: Either way its work ,but fun work.. Worth it in the end!
oic, well no actually i wouldnt have another car to drive at all, okay no problem
maybe i wont try to turbo then, maybe ill do something, i dont know yet
thanks though

What you should have is a second motor to play with the turbo with mounts already bolted to the motor. Once you get that together, then putting it in should be easier.
The 2 Accents I'm beta motoring now, 1 has a turbo. Although the transmissions on both Accents are blown, I mocked the engines up using this method on the bench (the cars could have been out of the shop). Once I get everything in the way I want it, putting in the engines will take less time in the long run.
