Default whats the best swap for my 91 excel

hey whats up im new to this forum but i need to now what is the best motor swap i can do and the most horse power i can get out of it. cause im going to run 12's when i get done i just need to know where i can get a motor that will fit in it. if u can provide me with this info i would really appreciate it.

what car does this motor come out of so i can find one and get it. and yeah im doing alot more than just a motor swap.

Turbo Talons, Lasers and Eclipses,.. also some other mitsubisis but not sure which ones

i didnt think that you could put a mitsubishis engines in an excel. does bolt right in or do u have to change alot of stuff. the reason why i am asking because i dont know a whole lot about hyundai but its a challenge to me.

from what Ive been told, there are a number of mits. engines that'll go easily into your excel, your best bet is to go with the 4G63T if ur aiming for 12's. That engine has alot of aftermarket support.

The Excel is already a Mitsubishi-based car. The motor you have now is the Mitsu 4g15. Swapping in a 4g63/4g63t is supposed to be a fairly straightforward job.

Only the evo versions of the lancer has the 4g63t and i'm not sure but I think only some of them have the transmission on the correct side.
