Default FYI 2003 Accent

For anyone with a new 2003 Accent--
I'm not sure if people already know this, but I figured I'd post anyway. I was just on kspec.com and they are now offering chrome-style headlights for the LC2 model, and it looks like the corner is cleared out! That should make all you who want clear corners on your LC2's happy.

I agree that $220 is kinda high, but the clear ones for the LC on sharkracing are $240, so its all pretty much the same. Though anyone with a brain and a screwdriver can do clear corners on an LC in 30 minutes.
Naw, ftwvampftw i havent done that yet. I rode with the originals for a while, and back to the chrome euros. Ive got some other things that are probably a priority over the black tails, ie side skirts, rims and suspension (in the spring), maybe a beta swap, and possibly pay for second semester at college :nervous::

lol 220 for a set of headlights with the amber lense taken out? what a joke. i realize theres a little more chrome in the headlight too but basically its a stock headlight with the lense taken out. if someone buys those im going to slap them. take the hour or so and do it yourself.

That's my doing! I e-mailed them and asked if they could get a price on the clear corner headlights, cause they come like that from the factory in Korea. And I agree, $220 is a lot! I'm under the impression that the DIY for LC2 clear corners is just the the one on newtiburon.org and I plan on doing it this weekend(saturday afternoon). It pays to work at a place that ships stuff out in plastic shrink wrap, cause they have a sweet heat gun here that should do just the trick.

Hope that works out ok for you. It sucks that the LC2's are harder to clear out than the LC's.
