Default lc accent mods that actually work?

I own an 02 accent 3dr with a 1.5L engine. the only performance mod is i removed the intake silencer. it didn't make a difference but i like the sound much better.

I want to do some simple bolt on mods that will add power but not affect driveabilty . i belive i'm going to start by helping the car breath with a cold air or maybe a ram air.i ripped the civic intake off of my truck and will eventually make it fit the accent but i'm married with a full-time job at nights and full time college in the day so I have very little time to work on my car. also any pics available would help.

mods so far
a couple interior bolt-ons, c.d. player, 2 10's, pics comming hopefully by the end of january.

-currently under construction is a home made spoiler, next i will attempt my own body-kit but i've got my doubts on that one because the sheetmetal for the spoiler has been hard enough to find. total money invested about 20bucks and maybe 20 man hours.

i love custom cars but i hate to spend money because its so hard to get. so i build pretty much all my mods.

I won 1st and 3rd place at NOPI with my 88 toy pu. my best mods were custom built exhaust(flowmaster duals), custom built interior with 3d flames, front suspension borrowed from a 1969 nova 396ss that would lay my custom built front end about 1/2" off the ground, all together a little over $1000 invested and hundreds of man hours,
but i can proudly say i performed every single mod myself.

Default Re: lc accent mods that actually work?

I just scanned the pics of my old camaro, truck, and the racecar i drove at AMS. i can't post them because i got a 36 hr day ahead of me but i'll try here within a few days.

-if you've ever been to sportruck.com or f-body.com i had posted a few pics of my truck under the same name "racecar13"

my car is pretty much still in the planning stages that why i want to know what simple mods work before i spend the money. if i ever get to put a lot of money into my car i will go with the elantra gt motor and turbo charge it but thats just dreamin because if i can't build it i'll probably never have it.
