Default Which would make the best sleeper accent?

Hello,
I am looking for opinions from you all on which you think would make a perfect sleeper. I own a 2001 1.6L DOHC Accent Gs 3dr and my wife owns a 1999 1.5L DOHC Accent Gs 3 dr. I will not be able to do this moding for a while but just curious to which would be the best option.

So for the 1.6L 2001 Accent:

1. Just do a basic t3 turbo with a nos set up?
2. Have a person swap the 2.0L in it and have it turbo'd/nos
3. Or just na the 1.6l engine.

And for the 1.5L 1999 Accent:

1. Pull engine and beef it up to handle higher boost from an alpine turbo
2. Do the 2.0L swap and have the same done from option 1. above.
3. Or once again just na the 1.5L

Most commonly I have found many mods for my wifes 99 X3, which seems to be the perfect sleeper. When thinking of the 2.0L swap, make me think that many of these have been done in Canada. I live in the Northern part of Indiana, so I could probably drive the car up there and have a shop there do this install.

In conclusion:
I have copied many of the stickeys from the site to review which car I will make the sleeper. But any comments or thoughts would help me on my way. I really don't need information on how to do the install, since there are stickeys here. For example Rudy's grociery list and others. I have them saved and printed out for futre looking.
All I am wanting to know is what your opinions are on these two very different car set up. I like both of our cars, I just wanted your thoughts for my final push.
Also if anyone in Canada has a shop in mind that I should go to, would you be able to leave their name and number so I could call them for instructions to their shop and prices from their previous work. And would this be easy enough for my local performance shop to do the swap. The mostly work on muscle cars but they are very good at performance end of cars. I think they could do the swap.

My last question...when the time comes for the project to take off and I would to have my local shop to do the work, who could I have them talk with to make sure things go smoothly if the have questions and concerns. They would be mostly talking to you, since they are better at the perfomance lingo. I do not want to be an answer machine service. If you would not mind leave a name and email, that would be cool. I would not bother you until the project would go under way.
Well I am going to quit rambling on but these are just a few questions that I have not seen answered and since I have both cars I just thought one of them would be cool to make really fast. Hope you all had a safe Holiday and have a great new year in 2004.

Sincerely,
<<ME>>

~01 LC~

if I were you, I'd go DSM with an even older accent...

more specifically a 90-94 Excel... swap in the 2.0L 4G63 Turbo... TONS of easy mods for that... and you're zoomin' :

Swap for a 2.0L and keep in NA. You can build a pretty powerful set up with this platform.. Keep us all posted

You and your wife should trade cars. Then drop the 2.0 Beta into it. Build it completly all-motor that way no one at the track knows what your running. It'll be a definite sleeper.
