Default weired engine sound???

Is a question for those who have the DOCH 1.6L engine owners........when you shut off the engine does it make a clinging sound from the intake manifoil......my does it most of the time.....especially when i rev the engine(3000rpm), then shut it off......it sounds like shutting off a diesel engine.......i when back to the dealer to complaint a few times but they say ..."nope, we hear nothing.......everything is fine.."

its normal, all cars do it. its the engine sucking for more air or air escaping from the engine either one of those 2 i dont rem which but i read a past topic asking the exact same thing.

It sounds like it is 'dieseling'. It means that there is too much unburned fuel left
in the engine, so it runs on.
Dont rev it up before you sut it off.
If that doesnt work than the timing is off, and there is too much unburned fuel
left in the engine, and it will try to run on after shutoff 'dieseling'.
But it might not happen all the time.
