May seem silly, but curious to know the specs of my car's 1.6L engine?
I have searched, and searched, and searched...but I wanted to know the engine specs on my 01 LC 1.6L. I just wanted this to prove to a guy at work about the specs a remembered seeing before. Then maybe I will fill better. Is there a site or was this discussed here once in the past. Just don't know where I saw.
I have checked webtech...but maybe not deep enough. Well that was all, thanks and see yah!

BTW, I also remember that when I saw the engine specs it also had specs on the car machincals....like axles, drivertraind,...blaw blaw balw. If this helps anyone.

Are the 1.5L and 1.6L DOHC lc's pretty much the same right? Its just the tranny thats different?

The 1.5L is a SOHC engine (except for the GT versions in 96-97 which were DOHC).

the 1.5 is a SOHC , and pushes 92hp and 97 torque i believe. and to my knowledge, the trannies arent different, but they could be.
