does ne one know the max hp u can possible get on the 1.5 L accent? im just wondering because i have never really seen one ne higher then 140

You are going to have to be more specific if you want a decent answer. Something like:
"What is the most hp I can get out of the 1.5 without forced induction while maintaining streetability using the stock ecu"
or
"What is the most hp I can get out of the 1.5 using turbo and getting custom made extra strong rods/crank/pistons/bearings/tranny/axles with upgraded fuel and spark running a stanalone engine management system while spending less than $17 000?"
But since you left all the options open in your question, I'm going to say:
about 1700 horsepower, give or take a few hundred.

ok ill be more spacific, how much HP can the 1.5 accent take with no mods done to the car, im talkign straight turbo and nitrous. how much could it take before it would rip apart, or much is the max .?

I knew someone spraying 50 shot.. on a 1.5 auto. It did fine. He went to 75shot then lost his feul pump. He was on hp as crookedH. Dont think he gets online here anymore.

When I dynoed my car at 5-6psi 9all we could get on dyno, something to do with the software of the dyno:ermm I had 136.9whp, and 163ftlbs of torque... THIS IS AT THE WHEELS.... Normally I am running 9-10psi... Soon I will know exact numbers for that, but estimated 160hp at the wheels

Sorry to hijack, but Endless mike has my attention... What did you do to get 244 whp with stock internals??? That would be like 18psi or better on turbo... That thing would have had to have massive injectors, and stand alone, or piggy back with ignition retard. Not to mention head work, transmission work to hold it... Blah, blah,blah... Anyway I'd like to know. So I can get there too... I was told our crank was good for around 300hp? I'd be thrilled with 200hp! In a car that weighs this much! Thats solid 13 second 1/4 mile times With traction...:ermm:
