i recently bought a performance chip off e bay, it claims to add about 13 - 20 HP to your car, it does somethign with the ECU computer so that your computer thinks you are getting cold air. the chip is nothign fancy and just blugs into a simple blug or connects to wires that or already loos on your car. what i want to knwo is if this is bad for your car or does it actually work. im questioning this now because someone stated in a difrent form i read " dont but a mod chip in your car unless its a sertin brand bla bla bla bla bla because it will only give u 2 HP max and prob just break your car"
ne way, all i can say is this chip is pretty much a no name brand and i wana know if its actually possible to harm you rengin with one
P.S. they garentee that the chip wont harm your engin in ne way what so ever.
