Default new intake

just got my hands on the intake i ordered a week ago.. its from http://www.cosmoracing.com and is for the 99 non turbo eclipse.

set it in today and needs a slight modification other than that it fits like it was made for the car...

here is a pic

you should be able to use the long piece with no modifications, i know i idd and filter set nicely right across from teh tranny.
try it it may make your life bit easyer by not having to cut anything

I have the cosmoracing CAI as well, all I did was cut the mount on the battery tray off nd it fit.

i have the same thing as well. but i did have to cut it to put the maf sensor in.

i installed it, its set up just like the both of your intakes but next week when i have time im going to run it into the fenderwell... i had to cut off the little brack on the battery tray to get it to sit in there properly... i dont like how the filter sits behind the radiator fans and next to the trannie... seems to me it would get rather hot there.... not to mention the radiator hose is right next to the piping.. ill fix all that this weekend.. other than that it looks good and the install took less that 30 minutes.
