Ocean City Car Show - Accent category!!!!! - Hyundai Performance Forums

Good news about the OC Car Show. I just got an email back from Brian with the OC Car Show http://www.occarshow.com regarding the Hyundai Classes. Last year there were only two Accent there and a bunch of Tibs. We were all together. Brian says that if we get enough people to register before they order the tropies then they will break up the class to Accents and Tiburons. Hey there,

Thanks for the input. Here is the deal with the classes, if we do in have 8-12 accents entered when we go to do trophies, than a class is no problem! I am all for that. The only problem is we need to have those entries in early to have the class. The only other issue is if we have 10 accents and 1 other Hyundai model, we may put that with the class. We can break things down as far as need, but we do it off of the current registration at the time we order trophies. Get all your guys entered and you should be set! Also, make sure to email me and keep checking in on it! If I get a lot of emails, it will stick in my head to make sure if we have the registration we can do it. Bottom line, I would love to break everything down as far as possible! Thanks and talk to you shortly.

Let all the Tib owners know this too. I don't want to double post the same information. Just wanted to let everyone know I'm looking out for us Accent drivers (as well as Hyundai drivers).

You should show anyway. With more cars representing, people and the aftermarket industry will have more opportunities to see the potential in our cars.

Yeah but I would do that same in your area. You guys have a lot more shows in CA then here. Plus better weather. I agree that we should all show as often as possible. Gotta make noise to change things.

Isnt OC in NJ almost near AC??or am I thinking of something else. Would a Stock looking Accent count as a showcar??

There is an Ocean City, NJ and Ocean City, MD. I'm talking about MD. Depends on how many mods you have even if it looks stock. Some of the shows are a ricefest.

My accent is basically stock- but if we can in fact get enough of us together to form a separate accent category (and keep it that way) I am most definitely going to be there with my untouched car.
