Default Excel vs. Accent

Can anyone tell me the difference between an excel and an accent, if any. I'd like to know if parts are interchangable. Thanx

i'm wanting to make my car run and look better. i don't have much money so i'm mainly interested in making the body look better. i'd like to see about getting a body kit and a short wing for it. maybe a aftermarket muffler too. any other suggestions would be helpful. Thanx.

i dont think they make body kits for the new excels, u can lower it and put rims on it, maybe get a small wrap around wing for the bottom of the hatch, when i had mine i was mostly for performance but that was just me

Tiburon Rims would look good on ur car, they look good on my elantra, i got them for a 100 bucks, and check the hp store for lowering kits (if u dont like the tiburon rims check out www.tirerack.com)

He has a 94 which is the last year they made the Excel in the US. In 95 it was called the Accent. It was called the Excel in Australia until 2000 when they called it the Accent. I have seen body kits for at least 98-04 Accents but I'm not sure about 95-97. What years do you mean by new excels?

No they wouldn't.

You should be looking for suspention parts strictly for X2 excel or scoupe. As for bodykits you would be better of if you slightly modified ones made for other similar cars. If you fitted a nice front and rear bumper lip and some sideskirts it could look very nice.
