I check batt and everything is cool, my car also has a chip before you turn it on, its from triad, its for security, but i go past that, turn in ignition and it wants to go but it doesnt, what was weir is that i was able to put it in drive , drove for a little bit and then just died. Im thinking it could be the timing belt. But i dont know,

wont be the timing belt. that would not allow the car to even turn over if it was broken. I am thinking the alternator as well. Take it to a shop and have it tested

ok news on the car, I decided to open the fuse box thats under the hood just to check the fuses and the ECU fuse was blown, So i got a new one and put it there and as soon as I tried to turn on the car, It fried again. So now i think we cant eliminate the timing belt issue. So it has to be electrical issue, could it also be that i might need a new ECU. or more like an alternator problem, All the other fuses are fine. I recently got the car smogged and a new cat converter installed. I have friends telling me that maybe the smog people might have messed with the alternator or could have caused this. I'm sorry if i might sound dumb, or maybe i dont make sense. but maybe this narrows the search.
