Default Just bought a black 2006 4 door Accent (stereo ?)

i pick it up from the dealers on wednesday and i wanted to know, if i change the radio to a pioneer will it void my waranty and if i wont the will my stereo out of my 2002 accent/ built after september: fit the 2006 wiring harness? so i dont have to buy a new plug and reconnect all of the wires, i just want to know if it is the same plug between 2002 - 2006?

It would just void the warranty on the stock stereo unit, but if the stock unit's not in there, how's it gonna break? Lol so you're fine there...but as for the wiring harnesses, I have no clue...sorry!

It would probably void the warrenty on the speakers too, I am not exactly sure on teh harness I would guess it is the same, most of the time one company(hyundai, ford, GM) all have the smae harness unless a model has other features and sometimes the larger harnesses are used and some wires are left unconnected. The best bet is to go to a stereo shop, or circuit city, or best buy and ask to look at both of the harnesses. Count the pins and the shape of the plugs, and make sure a few of the wire color match up.

If you replace the stereo it only voids the warranty on the factory one you take out...and at that point who cares? I replaced mine but I asked the guys at my dealership first to make sure.
