Im not by any means a pro at that kind of stuff, but it would seem to me that

More bends in exhaust=More exhaustive restrictions...

All the pros, lemme know if i am off on this one...

the idea with this muffler is to offer a slight amount of back pressure on open systems, This muffler is mostly just a "show can" however it does have a decent exhaust note, not that i use it tho

I had one on my LC not too long ago before I got my catback. I liked it even though it looked like a trumpet. it was quiet at idle and at full throttle it had a nice tone that was not loud but nice. performance wise it helped with the lower RPMs but with the higher RPMs it was about the same as any performance muffler. I am accually thinking about somehow putting my twin loop on my catback piping but im not sure yet.

Too be honest i used to have a twin tip muffler on mine....I switched it back to stock because i was tired of hearing the sound and not really move anywhere....people would hear me accelerate and box me out or speed up before i even had the chance to go around them....anyway i feel a lot more accel. with the stock muffler and I like it so much better. It has more "PEP" to it now:
