so i went to the track yesterday, and everyhting was going good until the race where i got knocked out because of my transmission! i caught a great light off the line but when i went to shift to second, it went all the way about but it never engaged a gear! so i quickly pulled it back out and slammed it back in and it went fine.... anyone have a clue what the problem is or how i can fix it?

it felt like someone literally took my second gear out.. it just reved like i still had the clutch in, there was no grinding but i did have that happen a few times when i was racing before

I dunno... could be the cluch not engaging... I've had that problem with the grinding ito 2nd since I've had the car, but never anything like this. That's my only guess though, is that the clutch doesn't engage and is left spinning on the motor end. If you let off the gas it should have caught if that's what it was, but I don't know dude. Does anyone know if the grinding would be fixed with a better clutch?

I bet the dealer would tell you to shift slower! Myne also grinds into second if I don't let the syncronizers catch up. I realy want a short throw shifter but if I have to wait for the syncs to catch up now what happens if I switch to a short throw?

I've had that happen to me a couple of time but only when I shift into reverse.

That happens to me sometimes too, like my friends are like uhhh and i was like i had the clutch to the floor and they don't belive me, not sure why it still grindswhen you have it to the floor, and like when your going 1mph and rolling to a stop with foot to the floor and put in reverse and it still grinds, safety issue?
