Default Question About Rims

Just got some 15" Prolines for my Accent. THey got the 4 x100 lugs & the 4 X 114 lug holes. 195x 50x 15 come after the 15th of May. I noticed that there are a couple of screw heads sticking out from the front hubs.

Tomorrow I will test fit the rims but I am wondering will the new rims slide over the screw heads or is there some special I need to do.

What do you mean by screw heads? You don't mean the 4 fairly large bolt heads from having captive rotors I hope...

I think he is talking about the screws coming out of the hub. They prevent the wheel from fitting on correctly. Just remove them and you will be fine.

my wheels fit on just fine without removing the screws, theres 8 holes, not universal, just 4 for the bolts and 4 straight holes... i had no problems.

Just the two small screw heads. They don't seem to do or be attached to anything. Why the heck are they there in the first place??

During production they keep the rotors on before the brake calipar is installed:
I have no idea but this sounded good.

i didn't have to remove mine either so it just depends on the wheel whether the back is flat or has indentions or not.

it hurts nothing to take off those screws, exactly what ozone said they hold it on while in prodution, the only reason you wouldn't have to take them off is if you buy a cavity backed wheel.
