Default Won't Start - Electrical issue?

I have a 96 Accent SOHC (turbo). It run's a remapped ECU with a MAP sensor.
Yesterday as always, the car drove to work OK with no sign of issues. Upon coming time to drive home, the car started, then several seconds after.

Now when I attempt to start the car, it ticks over, sometimes it fires briefly, but fails to start and run properly.

Occasionally, if the engine is dead cold it may start and idle for ~10 seconds or so, before failing with misfires. Then it will turn over but not fire at all.

I suspected the Crank Angle Sensor as the cause, as there was no spark or injector signal. I have swapped this to a working unit, with no luck.

Strangely, after trying to start the car for several minutes, I noticed an error code being shown (blinking) on my Check Engine Light. ie:
with the Ignition on: The CEL stays lit for ~2.5 seconds. Then the CEL flashes in groups of 4, 4 times. This repeats as long as the ignition is turned on.
I was surprised to see this, as this is an OBD-II equiped vehicle.

Any thoughts on what this issue could be caused by?

-Mark.

Turned out to be a problematic ECU.
Tested it with a stock twin cam ecu and it ran like a dream.
Removed the chiptorque chip from my original ecu and added it to this ECU, and it got me back on the road and boosting again.

Thanks for the thought though
