I have heard some people using them from the RX-7 or some other cars. I am going to build a 4 guage pod for my car out of fiberglass, I am not sure if I will build from scratch or modify one or what I haven't spend that much time looking yet.

hey guys, i hand glassed one for my 93 scoupe gt

Heres my tips.....Start by takin a mold of the factory piller, then take mold of how ever many pods u wants...glass both items together. sand an prep for paint, but then Take a mold of this a piller as one...this way u get a perfect fit for ur gauges an one neet finsih inside ur pod...i suggest lay only 2 layers glass peal off the original one u made, then lay about 4 layers inside it. this way u get strenth but i keep the nice shpae outside.
worked for me. i have awesome a piller dual pod now. tons work but looks so nice...

hope was some help to u.
Robin
