Default Vaccum line?

There is a hose that goes from the back of the valve cover into the throttle body, it seems mine has collapsed it sucks itself closed, but it dosent seem to hurt anything. Is it just a vaccum line or what...:dead:

you need to fix it.
it's the PCV hose,

I put a stronger piece of hose on it seems fine now, thanks alot
