Default Hid PLease

hey guys..

i was looking throughtout the site for HID....found some intresting stuff..

i got some specific questions tho.


2) would it be legal putting in on my 98 X3 accent? or do i have to modify the headlight progectors??

1) It would be illegal to put TRUE HIDS in a car not equipt w/ them from the factory (IE: Your car)

If you do end up getting real HIDs, you need a retro fitted headlight. (Taking a cars headlights that has HIDS from the factory and your headlights and pretty much "mushing" them together. So you have the factory HID headlight inside of your Accent headlights) About another 500.00 if you do it yourself.

In canadia land.. I have no idea of the laws.. but they might be the same.

Someone told me a couple years ago it was illegal to put HID's in cars that did not have them from teh factory, but I never really looked into it. He was the owner of a car audio shop and said that was why they had gotten a little harder to find a lot of companies stoped making them, but like I said that was just what he said. And like the mod said who knows in Canada land
