I can't remember that car exactly, but the couple installs I have done in them I didn't have any problems. How far off is it just a little bit or a lot? Maybe your mount kit is set up wrong. How much deeper is the new radio over the stock one, and is it the H/U hitting the bar or the wires?

Make sure all the wires are out of the way and your not pinching them between the bar and the radio, you should have no problem installing a radio. You shouldn't have to force anything so if you have check your wires to make sure you didn't cut through any of the coating on the wire, you don't want to have a short.
