Default Trunk lifter/actuator/gas spring needs replacing...

ok, so my 2003 accent gt needs one (or both) gas springs replaced, but this part is called so many things that i can't find any place to buy them, does anyone have any help?

on ebay there is an auction for 2 springs but for a 95-99 accent. too bad to cause they were on for 40 bucks, good enough for me.

You might want to try a gas strut search. Or go to a junk yard

I haven't really looked but I wouldn't think they would be that hard to find cause it is close to the same set-up as some cars have under their hood. Dealer would have them but I am sure they cost a lot, maybe try an autoparts store they can't be that much money there I wouldn't think.
