The 0-60 time is 11.00 secs. but 1/4 mile times are never quoted in the U.K......maybe one of our Aussie members can give this figure.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

thanks for the answer...but it somewhat doesnt sound right, i was on motortrents webpage were they did a roadtest for the accent wiht the 1.5L engine, and it did 0-60 in 10.6 secs, as seeing i have the bigger more powerful engine opion in my accent, i would think it could do the 0-60 under the time quoted for the 1.5L

not that i dont trust your answer, it just doesnt sound right.
if anyone less could put there thought into this? <img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

well i was looking at some other topics in the forum and i ran across someone that had a accent wiht the 1.6 5speed and the specs in his signature quoted as well as his webpage wiht a timeslip. only a K&N Filtercharger was used.

Stats:
0-60 8.7
1/4 mile 16.830@80.04mph

that is what he ran.
its comparable enough for me=)
hope this helps anyone else wondering like i was.

thanx WytchDctr <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

hmm 1,5 is 12,9 sec from 0-100 km/hour they say <img src=/images/forums/snitz/eek.gif width=15 height=15 border=0> , i think the person that said that dont know how to drive <img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0> , i think my 1,3 is faster then that.. maybe 10 sec <img src=/images/forums/snitz/finger.gif width=33 height=15 border=0>

0-100 km/hour = ~0-50 miles/hour (what i live in contry their only Km is use) <img src=/images/forums/snitz/angel.gif width=25 height=20 border=0>

That was wytch's best time ever. He usually ran just above 17sec.

everybody keeps putting down times for the 1.5L i asked for the 1.6L 0-60times:P all i know is that motor trends mag. quoted 1.5L wiht a 5speed does 0-60mph or 0-100Km in 10.6

all i know is that the 1.6L is faster then the 1.5L and 8.6 secs kinda sounds right to me. the car isnt sluggish<img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>
