Default light idea

ok check this out i had this epifany the otherday would it work here it is
what if you disconnected the fog lights from the switch and took the wires and tapped them to the running lights wires would it work........ then take the fog light switch and hook neons up to it or some thing that needs a switch????????????? or could you basically cut the wires fron the fog lights and running light and switch them out so the fog lights switch worked the running lights and and the rinning lights switch worked the fog lights......

why not just install a dedicated switch for the neons? wouldnt that save alot of time mucking around?

Sure you could, just wire your fogs into your low beam side of the headlight circuit. Law requires the fog light goes out with brights. Simple nuf'
