Default will performance parts for the 2005 fit the 07

hwy guys i am new to huyndais, and i am thinking of picking up a new accent, but i ave not seen any performance parts out for it, i know that they are working on some stuff, but i am wondering if things like intake, and exhausts will fit the new 07 that are made for the older model? i just want to make sure hat i am going to be able to mod this car a little. any information on companys that make aftermarket parts for huyndais would be helpfull as i said i am new to this brand. thanks

Almost nothing will exchange, sorry. You may be able to get a header for the 01-05 LC/LC2 Accent 1.6l DOHC but the current MC Accent has CVVT so the head could have changed enough to not let the older header bolt on right. Cold air intakes are engine compartment specific so no interchange. You have less room for a short ram intake, so it's unlikely one of the ones people use on the LC/LC2 will work. I think Hyundai has a short ram intake available though through the dealer. With the exception of the header may possibly interchange exhaust kits won't interchange because the chassis was totally redesigned.

The 07 My models (all Hyundai's) are designed differently. My HD (07 Elantra) is different than my 03 Elantra. Nothing I put on the older one won't work on the new one.
