Default Volt Stabilizers?

anyone got a volt stabilizer? i was considering getting one just cuz i have a small system and when the bass is hitting hard sometimes my lights do that funny dimming thing. they also claim to make your engine more responsive and even add torque. is that true? i think i can get one for like 30 or 40 on ebay. is it worth it?

Default volt stablizer???

I have a completely stock 01 accent 1.5l with a 1600 watt hifoniks brutus amp, 2 farad cap, and an other 150 watt eclipse amp all run by an eclipse deck and have no such problems. if your talking about a capaciter you should have 1 farad for every 500 watts rms you push. upgrading your charging system is always a good idea but you'll still need the cap. the battery under your hood is a slow charge slow discharge as opposed to a cap which is a fast charge fast discharge.amplifiers need fast juice to work properly. also check for ground loops in your system using a multimeter and your ear. with a ground loop problem you'll hear noise in your speakers when no music is present. I personally haven't upgraded my alternater but I should I just haven't had any problems with it yet.
p.s.
the size of power cable means a lot too. In my opinion anything less than 4 guage is wasting time and money, you get what you pay for
