depends on what kind of money you want to spend,
how much horsepower you're looking to gain, and the condition of the car and current mods

well unfortunately, with direct bolt-ons on our 1.6L (assuming you have a 1.6) the most of the standard bolt ons for the lc & lc2 will only gain you about 15 - 20 max without the use of nitrous

Its a 1.5 and I doubt itll see a 20hp gain from bolt ons with that motor. Starting at 95hp. Id say, do some cheap bolt ons to make you happy for now. Save the real money for a beta swap. The engine is getting old anyway and it would be a NICE increase in power. 95 - 135 (thats if you dont mod it). Beta as a better aftermarket. Is this an auto or 5spd? Im going to assume auto, that would make the swap even better if you switched to a 5spd.

That or rebuild the 1.5 and boost it.
