Shoving the Delta in an Accent is possible, but yes, it does take drastic modifications, and serious cash. He would have to have that 2.7 completely blown to be making 10's...and that's in a perfect world. Traction, for one, would be a huuuuge problem.

EEEEVVVVEEERRRYYYYYOOOONNNEEEEEE in HS makes "10's" in their custom fabricated DREAM cars. I don't think I've EVER seen any of these stories true, except for a very few cars that I helped to build but had major bankroll to spend.

Fully built Hondas rarely reach 10's, and they're notorious for being called faster cars. 11's aer possible and the B18's can make 10's easier, but it's still hard and expensive.

Having a charged 2.7 STILL wouldn't push it to 10's unless it's pushing 26+ PSI and had fully forged internals.

a delta in an accent would be overkill

of such a car exists..the car better not be used for time attack's or autocrossing
catastrophic understeer!!more than a vauxhall vectra

sorry being annoying once again but we were talking about drag racing here and having 2.7 Delta over front axle is a benefit because delta weights more than beta or alpha and put front wheels tighter against ground and gives traction advantage here.

of course if would need some engineering skills to make that car to do some turns and curves

It's quite a good deal more complicated than that. In short, that heavier Delta would cause junkloads of understeer. Why do you think H22-swapped Civics are only fast in a straight line?

I am starting to think I can't said anything in Englihgs...

I tryied to say that Delta is benefit in Drag race because the higher weight to front axle and it would require a lot of engineering skills to take that crazy combo to take some turns but looks like i failed totally.

damn...maybe i should quit this board?
